My Big Family
Hi! My name is Emma, and I have a very big family. All my family members are very important to me.
I live with my parents, my grandmother, and my little brother Tom. My mother works in a hospital, and my father is a teacher. My grandmother is 75 years old, and she tells us many interesting stories about her life. Tom is only 8 years old, but he asks a lot of questions every day.
I also have some relatives who don’t live with us. My aunt Sarah and uncle Mike live in another city with their children. They have three kids: my cousins Lucy, Sam, and baby Anna. All my cousins are very funny and kind.
Most weekends, we visit my grandfather. He lives alone in a small house with his dog, Rex. My grandfather has a few old photos of our family on his table. He shows us some photos every time we visit him.
During holidays, all our family comes together. My aunt brings many delicious cookies, and my uncle always brings some presents for the children. Most family members stay until late at night. We talk, laugh, and eat together.
I have several favorite family traditions. Every Sunday, some of us go to the park together. In summer, many family members go on vacation to the beach. All these moments make me very happy.
A few times a year, we have big birthday parties. Some family members live far away, but they always try to come. Most people bring food to share. All the children play games together while some adults talk and many others help in the kitchen.
I love my big family. Each person is special, and every moment with them is wonderful. Some days are difficult, but all my family members always help each other.
